    Even in our small island state, there are gems waiting to be discovered. This is a common bird found in Bt Timah Nature Reserve…the Greater Racket-tailed Drongo(Dicrurus paradiseus). Some people mistake it as a crow…but it’s not! =) It has unusually elongated outer tail feathers, strong bill, red eyes, messy crest, purple-black plumage.
