Visited Jurong Bird Park (Singapore) few weeks ago. Went to the Lory Loft, the world’s largest Lory flight aviary! The aviary has a land area of 3000 sq m, and about 9-storey high.
Upon entering, I was immediately greeted by colourful, bold and “chatty” lories. Visitor are allowed to feed the lories with nectar mixtures! It’s really fun to watch them fly around freely.
As I stand on the suspended bridge and admire the beauty of these birds, I was reminded of how wonderful God has created nature to be. And at that moment, I said a prayer of thanks to God. I thanked Him for giving eyes to appreciate all of His wonderful creation…and thank Him that the world is not in black and white, but full of colours!!
Sometimes, it is the simple things that can bring happiness and contentment. =)
